When you purchase products on smile.amazon.com that are identified as part of the Amazon Smile program, the Amazon Smile Foundation will donate .5% (1/2 percent) of the purchase price to a charity that you designate. Shockoe Artspace is a registered 501c3 charity in the Amazon Smile program. If you designate Shockoe Artspace as your charity, then Shockoe Artspace will receive the donated funds from your purchases through Amazon. It is simple to set it up and then it happens automatically.
On your first visit to smile.amazon.com or AmazonSmile on your Amazon Shopping app, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. We will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation. After selecting a charitable organization, you can also activate AmazonSmile on the Amazon Shopping app.
